Pagani Zonda 750: A one-off purple caprice

Pagani Zonda 750

The Pagani Zonda production end is near and it looks like the Italian company wants the car to retire in glory (and with a nice profit), because they keep showing one-off special editions, like the HH, built for software guru David Heinemeier Hansson, the Uno, built for the Qatari royal family or the Tricolore, a tribute to the Italian Air Force.

And the 750 is the latest one-off Zonda, which will be made for a Middle East client and which features a special purple paint job, a different rear window design plus an unique roof air inlet and it is powered by the same 7.3-liter Mercedes AMG V12. We’re not sure what the 750 stands for, but one guess would be that it means the engine will deliver 750 hp, instead of the regular 669 hp figure.

One more photo after the jump.

Porsche blocks employees’ access to Facebook

Porsche Facebook Xing eBay

According to Bloomberg, Porsche is considering social-networking platforms such as Facebook or Xing a threat to the company’s privacy so they blocked employees’ access to them and other web-based services, including eBay. Dirk Erat, a Porsche spokesman said that the German car maker is worried about foreign intelligence services spying on what employees are posting. No idea why eBay is on the banned sites list, but I guess Porsche has a reason.

This isn’t the first time Facebook has been a subject to privacy concerns, after the privacy settings change in May a lot of companies expressing their worries that Facebook is not doing a very good job keeping their users details private enough.

And speaking of Facebook, did you get the chance to see our page? If you like it, please make sure you also hit the “Like” button.

Toyota iQ Disco Concept

It seems the Toyota iQ is creating a lot of buzz recently. After earlier today we told you about Aston Martin putting the Cygnet (basically a luxury iQ), now we have this Disco iQ coming from Germany. The car was created by Toyota Germany to resemble a disco ball and its purpose will be of amusing people at different events throughout Germany.

Beside the obvious blinding mirror cover, the Disco iQ also features 18″ alloy wheels and Lambo doors, while the main highlight is the 1000 Watts professional DJ Sound System with 15″ subwoofers, satellite speakers, 2-channel mixer and two Numark NDX-800 players producing 130 dB, which is louder than a rock concert or a pneumatic riveter.

The Disco iQ will first show up at the "Cologne Rocks" event in Köln and after that, Toyota dealers across Germany will be able to book the show car for different events.
